Businesses to benefit from multi-million pound refurbishment of Southampton’s Grand Harbour Hotel

Businesses will be greeted by a completely refurbished Grand Harbour Hotel when they book for meetings and conferences, from this month.

The hotel is one of Southampton’s most recognisable landmarks and – in its 20th anniversary year – has just undergone a complete £4 million makeover, transforming its conference facilities, rooms, restaurants and spa.

“Southampton is perfectly positioned along the south coast – with easy transport links to the east, west and to London,” said Grand Harbour Hotel general manager, Laura Roberts.

“Businesses come to the city from across the region – and from further afield – because of its location and because they know they can access excellent hotel conference facilities.

“We believe strongly in the vision for Southampton and the redevelopment of the waterfront here – so now is the perfect time to unveil our comprehensive refurbishment.”

The Grand Harbour Hotel is situated in Southampton’s city centre – close to the popular waterfront. It offers conference rooms for up to 500 delegates and flexible facilities for smaller meetings – as well as 173 guest rooms and extensive leisure facilities.

“This latest investment is a reflection of our drive to maintain the hotel’s reputation as the first port of call for those seeking out a rare combination of affordable luxury in the south of England,” added Laura.

“We are very much looking forward to welcoming businesses from a wide range of sectors over the coming months and showing them all that the Grand Harbour Hotel has to offer.”
