Romsey

The ancient market town of Romsey sits on the banks of the River Test, one of the finest trout and salmon rivers in Europe.

The town is made up of a series of medieval streets centred around a Norman Abbey. Visitors will find a selection of boutique and high street shops, good quality restaurants and independent cafés, offering a selection of tasty treats.

There are several local attractions worth exploring outside of the town. These include Mottisfont, a 12th century Augustinian priory, Broadlands Estate and Sir Harold Hillier Gardens.
