New Forest

Looking to hold your next conference or event in the New Forest, Hampshire?

With its flat, open heathland, dense woodland, wild ponies and chocolate-box villages the New Forest is often described as one of the most beautiful parts of Hampshire. It allows visitors to ‘get away from it all’ with a series of unique, smaller venues for conferences, meetings and events.

Famed for its unusual wildlife and exceptional scenery, the New Forest National Park stretches 218 miles reaching from Hampshire through to Dorset. It offers miles of picturesque bridleways, pathways and cycle tracks, perfect for anyone wishing to explore outdoors.

Once the royal hunting ground for William the Conqueror, the New Forest’s cosy villages and busy market towns are fun to explore. Spend time browsing the eclectic shops, enjoy a refreshing cold drink at a friendly thatched pub or tuck in to a cream tea at a quaint café.

The New Forest has many popular attractions, including the world famous Beaulieu National Motor Museum and Paultons Park, home of Peppa Pig World. Exbury Gardens sprawls an impressive 200 acres and has a fabulous display of plants including azaleas and rhododendrons. Across the river from Exbury sits Buckler’s Hard, an 18th century shipbuilding village. Here there is the chance to browse the museum and cottages which once played an important role in the country’s shipbuilding industry.

This part of the county mixes rural tranquillity with roaring coastline, perfect for those looking for somewhere different to host their event. It also has a superb selection of accommodation from luxury hotels such as Chewton Glen, to the smaller boutique venues of Lime Wood and The Pig in the Forest.

The New Forest can be accessed by the M27 motorway, but the motorway does stop at the entrance to the Forest. The National Park is made up of a series of A and B roads. There are several mainline train stations with regular services from London. These include stations in the villages of Brockenhurst, Sway and Ashurst.
