Ringwood

Ringwood is a busy market town to the west of the New Forest. It hosts regular weekly markets and its period buildings have remained unspoilt throughout time. Wander its streets and you will find a host of delicious tea rooms, modern shops and old-fashioned pubs.

There are several pretty walks around the town which take in the delightful River Avon. Learn about the best walks and cycle paths at Ringwood’s Visitor Information Centre, which has everything you need to know about this historic town.

The area’s most famous export can be sampled at Ringwood Brewery. Established in 1978, the brewery offers tours of its site along with the chance to purchase some of its best known ales. Other nearby attractions include the Owl Raptor and Reptile Centre and Blashford Lakes Wildlife Reserve.
