Lymington

The Georgian town of Lymington lies to the south of the New Forest, halfway between Southampton and Bournemouth. Serviced by two pretty marinas, the town is a great place to spend time exploring the quirky high street, relaxing in the 19th century outdoor lido or enjoying delicious locally caught seafood. It also has a regular market dating back to the 13th century.

Lymington has a railway station and regular local bus services. It also has Wightlink ferry services across to Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight, perfect for those wanting to venture further afield for the day.
