Nick Clegg visits the Ageas Bowl

Deputy Prime Minister and Leader of the Liberal Democrat Party Nick Clegg spoke of the Ageas Bowl in glowing terms after a visit to the home of Hampshire Cricket on Wednesday 12th November.

Clegg earlier spent the day in Eastleigh aiming to promote the importance of apprenticeships by holding a Q&A session at Prysmian Cables & Systems before visiting the Ageas Bowl.

Joined at the home of Hampshire Cricket by the Liberal Democrat MP for Eastleigh Mike Thornton, the Deputy Prime Minister gave a talk to the key business leaders in the county.

The Ageas Bowl Commercial Director, Stuart Robertson, Chief Executive of Eastleigh Borough Council, Nick Tustian and CEO of Prysmian Group Paul Atkinson were among those who attended the lunch.

Clegg also spoke at great lengths about the Ageas Bowl’s fantastic facilities and on-going ground developments with Hampshire Cricket Chief Executive David Mann and the local media.
